Mommy's Boy Book Launch Party

On March 9, 2025—the eleventh anniversary of the day I adopted Benny—we celebrated him with a book launch party for Mommy’s Boy. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who was there to support me and honor Benny, particularly my husband, Brad, without whom I could not have written this book—especially in less than a year. In lieu of charging the people in attendance for the book, we asked them to make a contribution to VCA Animal Hospital Charities. The incredible doctors, techs, and staff at the VCA in Fishers saved Benny’s life on numerous occasions and always provided him with top-notch care and treatment, so this organization is near and dear to our hearts. All told, approximately $400 was donated in Benny’s name to help feed vulnerable animals through pet pantries, aid pets in need when disaster strikes, and provide financial grants to help qualified owners cover the costs when their fur babies need life-saving medical treatment. It was a day I’ll (hopefully) never forget, and I so appreciate everyone who made the time to be there.
